1. Data Controller
SpawnPost (spawnpost.com) is the data controller responsible for your personal data. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@spawnpost.com.
2. Data We Collect
- Email address — collected when you sign in via Supabase Auth magic link. Used solely for authentication.
- Generated content (transformations) — the source text and AI-generated social media posts you create. Stored in our database so you can access your history.
- Source URLs — URLs you submit for content scraping. Stored alongside transformations.
- Usage data — daily generation counts and subscription plan, used to enforce plan limits.
- Payment information — processed directly by Stripe. We do not store card details.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate SpawnPost:
- Supabase — Authentication and database hosting. Data stored in EU region.
- Anthropic / Claude— AI text generation. Your source content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate social media posts.
- Stripe — Payment processing for subscriptions.
- PostHog— Product analytics. We collect anonymised usage events (e.g. "magic_link_sent", "posts_generated").
- CometAPI — AI image generation for visual platforms.
- Vercel — Hosting and infrastructure.
4. Cookies
- Essential cookies — Supabase Auth session cookies, required for the service to function.
- Analytics cookies— PostHog cookies used to track aggregate usage patterns. You can opt out via PostHog's opt-out mechanism.
5. Data Retention
Your transformations (generated posts and source content) are stored until you delete your account. Usage counters are reset daily. If you request account deletion, all your personal data will be erased within 30 days.
6. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection law (including GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@spawnpost.com.
